Last year Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) launched a Laundry-to-Landscape (L2L) Greywater Program, offering free workshops to educate customers on how to install a laundry-to-landscape greywater system in their home, as well as free onsite technical evaluations/consults and an $80 voucher towards the purchase of greywater parts. These workshops were very well attended.
This year, PWP has received grant funding to expand the program with new offerings for customers including the direct install of laundry-to-landscape greywater systems for income-qualified customers at no cost.
To learn more about greywater, PWP customers are invited to register and attend the next laundry-to-landscape greywater workshop on May 20th, at Villa Parke Community Center. During the workshop customers will receive a voucher for DOUBLE the standard incentive for L2L greywater systems – $160 towards the purchase of greywater system parts. This voucher will cover most of the cost of the parts to install an L2L greywater system. This is a free event but registration is required. After attending the workshop, customers will also be given an opportunity to sign up for an on-site technical evaluation at no cost.
Below is the link to register for the upcoming workshop. Customers can also call the Citizen Service Center (CSC) at 626-744-7311 to register for the workshop.
