Defend yourself like a Samurai warrior! Developed by Samurais, Ju Jitsu as an unarmed combat, self-defense technique. Traditional Ju Jitsu techniques place an emphasis on throwing (Nage Waza), immobilizing and pinning (Osaekomi waza), joint-locking (Kansetsu waza) and choking (Shime waza), to enable an unarmed Samurai warrior to defend against an armored opponent in battle. Test your strength! No Gi Brazilian Ju Jitsu/Submission Grappling is a sport in which the object is to submit your opponent using a variety of joint locks and chokes, or to win the match on points. It is also used in mixed martial arts tournaments. Competitions in this sport resemble Brazilian Ju Jitsu competitions, although competitors do not usually wear Gis. This lack of Gi increases the amount of speed and athleticism required, and it also limits the sweeping and submission options of the competitors.
