The City of Pasadena provides an array of human services to support the community including consumer action services, assistance with landlord/tenant issues, small claims, applications with various government assistance programs and other related matters. Various support and programs are also available for youth, families, and seniors.

Consumer Action

Consumer Relations Representatives are available to assist individuals with issues related to landlord/tenant issues, small claims, court eviction, Social Security, disability claims, EDD, fraudulent actions, legal assistance, welfare, Covered California, Affordable Care Act, and other related matters.

Staff can assist with job searches, housing, translations and general consumer action. Check in at the Front Desk.

The Head Start Program is innovative, creative and dedicated to enhancing the lives of its children, parents, staff and community volunteers. Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federally–funded supplemental food, nutrition education and breastfeeding support program. WIC helps families with women and/or children who are at nutritional risk by providing nutrition education along with monthly food coupons. WIC's goal is to prevent health problems and improve the health of participants during critical times of growth and development.
