Joe Amezquita grew up in Pasadena, CA. and graduated from John Muir High School. He then went on to pursue his Bachelors in Sociology & Pre-Med Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he graduated from in 2011. A few of his hobbies include football, basketball, hiking and going to the gym. Joe currently works for the County of San Bernardino at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, but plans to continue his education to further expand his horizons.
Joe says “Being a part of the Ambassadors program from nearly its inception helped me grow in all aspects of my life and created lifelong friendships.” He continues, “Being able to work with fellow youth and then becoming a Senior Ambassador well into my college years while commuting from Santa Barbara to Pasadena on event days helped me with time management, networking and communication which I use every day. Working with Lola is always a pleasure and I thank her for giving me the opportunity to be a part of something special.”
Words of advice: After flat lining during an accident in high school, my motto for life is this: “Live life to the fullest & have no regrets; you never know when you’ll run out of time.
